FinancialLease.nl has acquired Ros Finance

MAARSSEN / VEENENDAAL, 17 May 2023 – On Wednesday 17 May 2023, FinancialLease.nl (an Egeria portfolio company) has acquired financial lease intermediary Ros Finance. By doing so, FinancialLease.nl has further expanded its market position as the largest financial lease intermediary in the Netherlands.
For FinancialLease.nl, it is the second acquisition in just over a month, following the acquisition of DB Lease in mid-April. Together, the three companies have an annual leasing volume of more than € 500m, which is the total value of lease contracts financed through banks and leasing companies.
Both Ros Finance and FinancialLease.nl operate as intermediaries, with a large network of car dealer partners. They do not manage their own fleets of vehicles but only arrange the financing solution. The acquisition further strengthens the market position of both companies with the goal to double the combined leasing volume to one billion euros per year in the next five years. "Together you are stronger, and you can increase your market share, we will use each other's advantages and thereby we will create synergies. For example, we are a very strong player online and can help Ros Finance with their online presence, while Ros Finance is strong in partnerships with car companies and runs a very efficient operation," says FinancialLease.nl CEO Jurriën van Dijk.
As Ros Finance also provides consumer credit, the Financial Markets Authority (AFM) has yet to officially approve the acquisition.
