BRUSSELS, July 29, 2016 – Acquisition of Evenementenhal from H2 Equity Partners and ABN AMRO Participaties puts Artexis Easyfairs among the world’s leading events organisers and venue operators. Artexis Easyfairs, the Brussels-based events organiser and venue manager, has significantly increased its portfolio of venues and events with the acquisition of Evenementenhal, which organises a total of 78 events and operates 3 venues in The Netherlands. Artexis Easyfairs now has a portfolio of 11 venues (206,173 sqm) and more than 200 events.

In 2015, Evenementenhal attracted 10,000 exhibitors and 600,000 visitors to events in Hardenberg (owned), Gorinchem (owned) and Venray (leasehold) in The Netherlands and Bad Salzuflen (leasehold) in Germany. It organises 78 events, which are mainly business-to-business trade fairs in market sectors such as agriculture & horticulture, transport & logistics, automotive, shipping and building & construction.
