NIJMEGEN, August 19, 2025 – Alewijnse, a leading systems integrator specializing in electrical and automation solutions for the maritime industry has joined forces with Oceanco, the Dutch builder of custom superyachts. With this strategic acquisition, Oceanco aims to strengthen its in-house capabilities in advanced system integration, further enhancing the efficiency of its yacht-building process. Alewijnse will continue to operate under its own name, serving a broad range of maritime clients, while supporting Oceanco’s long-term vision for sustainable and technologically advanced superyachts.

This transaction marks the successful conclusion of Alewijnse ownership led by Strong Root Capital, along with co-shareholders CommonWealth Investments and Damen Maritime Ventures. Since acquiring the company, the consortium has focused on strengthening the organization, professionalizing its operations, and driving profitability. Over the last years, Alewijnse has a.o. completed the strategic acquisition of Tijssen Elektro, expanded its international footprint, and reinforced its position as a leading systems integrator in the maritime sector.
